Terms and Conditions for Avondale Gem Short-Term Rental
1. Rental Agreement
By booking a stay at Avondale Gem, the guest agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all occupants of the property during the rental period.
2. Booking and Payment
Full payment is due 7 days prior to arrival. All bookings are non-refundable unless the cancellation policy is met.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Late check-out may result in additional fees unless previously agreed upon with the host.
4. Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for the property is six (6) people. Guests may not exceed this limit without prior approval from the host.
5. No Guests or Parties
No additional guests or parties are allowed at any time during the reservation. Unauthorized guests or parties may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund.
6. No Smoking Policy
Avondale Gem is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the home. Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees.
7. No Pets Allowed
Pets are not allowed unless expressly approved by the host. Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees or termination of the rental agreement without refund.
8. Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property caused by themselves or their invitees. An additional security deposit may be required for certain bookings.
9. Backyard Access
The backyard area is not available for guest use during the reservation.
10. House Rules
Guests agree to follow all house rules provided in the listing or at the property, including respecting quiet hours and refraining from any disruptive behavior.
11. Winter Safety Advisory
Guests assume all risks associated with staying at the property, which may include icy conditions on steps or sidewalks during Chicago’s winter months. Icy surfaces may sometimes be unavoidable before they can be remedied safely during winter weather.
12. Liability
The host is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises. Guests assume all risks associated with staying at the property.
13. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival.
